Are book titles underlined, italicized, or put in quotations?
It is best to choose a style for your writing and stick with it. Typically, one would put book titles in italics in a bibliography, with the alternative being underlining. Use underlining when italic type is unavailable. Consistency is very important. And for a title within a title, use quotation marks. Just remember that titles of longer written works are underlined or italicized. Longer written works include books, full-length plays, films, longer musical compositions, and periodicals.
