Where can I get a list of the different types of murder, i.e., -cide words?

In an online dictionary or within a dictionary on CD-ROM, you can search with a wildcard asterisk: *cide and you will receive a long list of words which end this way. You could also perform a reverse dictionary look-up within the definitional text - searching on murder or killing, etc. - but that would be a less accurate method. You would have to research or guess the words used in the definitions to describe different types of murder. Otherwise, such a search would return an incomplete list. Some specialized dictionaries offer vocabulary in categories such as this. An example is Word Menu (Glazier, Stephen, ed., New York: Random House Information Group, 1998) which has a section on Murder and Suicide and lists some of the -cide words.
