angiotensinase an·gi·o·ten·si·nase (ān'jē-ō-těn'sə-nās', -nāz')

  1. A peptidase in tissues and plasma that degrades angiotensin II.

  2. Any of several enzymes in the blood that hydrolyze angiotensin.
