Arnold-Chiari deformity Ar·nold-Chiari deformity (är'nəld-, -nōlt'-)
n.
A congenital deformity at the base of the brain, often associated with spina bifida, in which the cerebellar tissue is elongated and extends into the fourth ventricle.
