oxycephaly ox·y·ceph·a·ly (ŏk'sē-sěf'ə-lē)
A congenital abnormality of the skull in which the top of the head assumes a conical or pointed shape because of premature closing of the lambdoid and coronal sutures. Also called acrocephaly.

ox'y·ce·phal'ic (-sə-fāl'ĭk) or ox'y·ceph'a·lous (-sěf'ə-ləs) adj.
