Personal-equation is always a great word to know.
So is quincunx. Does it mean:
an arrangement of five objects, as trees, in a square or rectangle, one at each corner and one in the middle.
a children's mummer's parade, as on the Fourth of July, with prizes for the best costumes.

A constant but slight error in judgment, perceptual response, or action that is specific to an individual and is so constant that it is usually possible to allow for it when assessing that person's statements or conclusions, thus arriving at approximate exactness.
