thoracodorsal artery tho·ra·co·dor·sal artery (thôr'ə-kō-dôr'səl)
An artery with origin in the subscapular artery, with distribution to the muscles of the upper part of the back, and with anastomoses to the branches of the lateral thoracic artery.
