Deneb   (děn'ěb')  Pronunciation Key 
A white supergiant star. It is the brightest star in the constellation Cygnus, with an apparent magnitude of 1.26. Deneb, along with Vega and Altair, form the Summer Triangle asterism. Scientific name: Alpha Cygnus. See Note at Rigel.
