Schenectady

Dylan returned to upstate New York to study political economics at Union College in Schenectady.

Was very busy at this time in organizing for my lecture campaign between Schenectady and Buffalo.

During my stay here I became interested in the place and found that Schenectady was as rich in legends and story as her neighbors.

Schenectady was then in the form of an oblong square, having a gate at each extremity.

The next morning, after an early breakfast, a stage was taken which in a few hours carried them to Schenectady.

On reaching Schenectady the travelers learned that they must wait till the next noon to take a boat up the Mohawk River.
