If each lamp when hot has a resistance of 220 ohms, and the E.M.F. is 100 volts, what current will flow?

A galvanometer is connected in series with a standard high resistance and a steady source of E.M.F.

I am supposing that in both cases the lamps require the same quantity of current, though of different E.M.F.

Would you expect to get an E.M.F. by forming a cell of two copper plates?

If each takes 45 volts and 10 amperes, how much E.M.F. and current will they require?
