Pinsk

Vika Biran is originally from Pinsk, a city in southern Belarus that is roughly 180 miles from Minsk, the country’s capital.

During the day many more of the relatives arrived, among them several members of the family from the Russian city of Pinsk.

As a proof of this statement I may cite the draining of the great Pinsk swamps, which was begun by the Government in 1872.

Plagues of rates have appeared at Pinsk, and in the British trenches.

While not quite so extensive as the Pinsk Swamps, they are quite as impassable, from a military point of view.
