ordenar, verb:
to arrange; to tidy

In a previous Spanish Word of the Day we had ordenado, meaning tidy. The related verb is ordenar, to arrange.

Habrá que ordenarse de otra manera.
It will need to be arranged differently.

In some cases ordenar means to arrange, in the sense of putting in a particular order:

Hay que ordenar los recibos por fecha.
We have to put the receipts in date order.

In other cases ordenar refers to tidying things:

Nunca ordena sus papeles.
He never tidies his papers up.
