alcoba, noun:

Several words beginning in al- come from Arabic, and alcoba is one of them. Nowadays it is a rather literary word for bedroom, but you may come across it when reading classic literature. These days it’s more commonly used in the phrase de alcoba to mean intimate.

Se trata de un libro en el que no hay secretos de alcoba.
It’s a book in which there are no intimate secrets.

Sólo puede narrarnos inventadas confidencias de alcoba.
He can only tell us made up intimate secrets.
