Loup River

The task of crossing Loup River had been accomplished safely and there was a general spirit of gratitude throughout the camp.

In 1859 the government moved them to another home on the Loup river and in 1876 they were removed to Indian territory.

One cold winter, when food was scarce, a band went into camp near the Loup River.
