Passion Week

It is Passion-week, too; and that's not a week to play the heathen.

In Passion-week pilgrims come to pray at the several "stations" along the route to the figurative Calvary at the end of the Via.

And thus Passion-week tells all men in what true goodness lies.

He who has learnt the lesson of Passion-week, and practises it; he and he only is a good man.

Shrove-Tuesday was marked by a ball, and Passion-week by promenades and concerts.
