Prajapati

Prajapati becomes the great mythical hero, and inherits the wildest myths of the savage heroic beasts and birds.

The gods and Prajapati now freed themselves from the dominion of Death by celebrating an enormous number of sacrifices.

(Saying) 'bhuh,' Prajapati generated himself; (saying) 'bhuvah,' he generated offspring: (saying) 'svah,' he generated animals.

(The bride and bridegroom say), May Prajapati bestow on us children; may Aryaman keep us united till old age.

Earlier forms of this myth recognize Brahma, or Prajapati, as the boar.
