Reck\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Recked(obs. imp. Roughte); p. pr. & vb. n. Recking.] [AS. reccan, r[=e]can, to care for; akin to OS. r[=o]kian, OHG. ruochan, G. geruhen, Icel. r[ae]kja, also to E. reckon, rake an implement. See Rake, and cf. Reckon.]

1. To make account of; to care for; to heed; to regard. [Archaic]
