St. Eustatius

St. Eustatius is said to be one of the finest and best-cultivated islands of all the Caribbees.

First among the enumerated objects of attack was the small island of St. Eustatius.

On the 3d of February they arrived off St. Eustatius, which in the face of their imposing force submitted at once.

Three days after their orders arrived, they sailed for St. Eustatius.

At St. Eustatius one hundred and thirty of them were condemned.
