Cheshunt

Nursery and market gardening, largely under glass, brick-making and saw-mills are the chief industries of Cheshunt.

The writer first came under his influence during his second session at Cheshunt.

In 1792 the college was removed to Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, where it remained till 1905, when it was transferred to Cambridge.

Ascham taught Elizabeth—then sixteen years old—for two years, chiefly at Cheshunt.

After this he visited Ireland, and then became pastor to a Nonconformist congregation at Cheshunt.
