Docudrama is always a great word to know.
So is callithumpian. Does it mean:
a screen or mat covered with a dark material for shielding a camera lens from excess light or glare.
a children's mummer's parade, as on the Fourth of July, with prizes for the best costumes.

But all this docudrama grit allows for precious little dramatic juice.
In other words, it's a docudrama, which some readers are apt to consider
  literally true.
It is also constructed in the realm of cinematic and television narrative, as
  both drama and docudrama.
The disaster movie, the docudrama, the inspirational war story--those are not
  exactly innovations.
