Easley

In 1983, Easley moved to New York City to live with Freiberg after the two became a couple that year.

He said the BARBRI organization arranged for Easley to travel to cities throughout the country to give his bar preparation lectures, usually in the months prior to when the winter and summer state bar exams are given for prospective lawyers.

For Easley, one of the most important steps to helping her husband was learning to legitimize her own position as a caregiver.

Easley will speak about the challenges she and her family have faced on Oct. 22 at Women in the World Texas in San Antonio.

Easley is earning money for the family as a part-time caregiver, through the Veterans Administration.

Once Easley learned to recognize the triggers, she says, their lives improved markedly.

He was kind of free to go wherever he wanted to go in both the Easley investigation and the Edwards investigation.
