Emunctory is always a great word to know.
So is reaction. Does it mean:
involuntarily correlative with a voluntary action, as the contraction of the iris when the eye is opened
action in response to a stimulus of a system, a nerve or a muscle

Origin:
1535–45; < Neo-Latin ēmunctōrium (noun), ēmunctōrius (adj.), equivalent to Latin ēmung(ere) to wipe one's nose (ē- e- + -mungere, akin to mūcus mucus) + -tōrium -tory2, -tōrius -tory1
