Also called eryth·roblasto·sis fe·tal·is [fi-tal-is] , erythroblasto·sis ne·o·na·to·rum [nee-uh-nuh-tawr-uhm, -tohr-] . this condition in the fetus or newborn, usually caused by an Rh incompatibility between mother and baby.
