Excito-motor action, the action of nerves distributed to muscular organs, the stimulation of which leads to movement.

In France it is commonly employed as an excito-tonic in paralysis.

In the same sense the two verbs derived from πολεμος are used, πολεμοω signifying ad bellum excito; πολεμεω, bellum gero.
