Moshesh

It is said that Moshesh himself was surprised at the easy result.

This chief was the famous Moshesh, to speak of whose career I may digress for a moment from the thread of this narrative.

However, in 1865 fresh troubles broke out, and there was again war between Moshesh and the Free State.

Moshesh replied: "I must consider well before I disturb the sepulchres of my ancestors."
