Patos
La·go·a dos Patos [luh-gaw-uhdoos pat-uhs], /ləˈgɔ ə dʊs ˈpæt əs/, a lagoon on the Atlantic coast in southeastern Brazil: Pôrto Alegre is on the lagoon. About 150 miles (240 kilometers) long and 30 miles (48 kilometers) wide.
