Principal ideal is always a great word to know.
So is calculus. Does it mean:
one of several highly systematic methods of treating problems by a special system of algebraic notations, such as differential or integral calculus
a variable in a functional relation whose value determines the value or values of other variables, such as x in the relation y = 3x
