town, Hauts-de-Seine departement, Ile-de-France region, northern France. It is a western residential suburb of Paris, located on the left bank of the Seine River. The northern part is separated from Paris by Longchamps racecourse and by the Bois de Boulogne; the southern part by the suburb of Boulogne. It is located on the slopes of the riverbank and on the plateau beyond.
