Sidra

The Spanish bottled cider (sidra) is a refreshing drink, mixed with lemonade, in hot weather.

Farther to the east, along the shores of the Gulf of Sidra, nothing but dreary wastes of sand prevail.

For eight and twenty years, until his old age, Rab devoted himself to the Sidra at Sora (219–247).

It is situated on a narrow strip of land between the Gulf of Sidra and a salt marsh, in 30 7′ N. lat.
