South Sandwich Trench

an arc-shaped oceanic trench that runs along the east side of the South Sandwich Islands, the deepest trench in the South Atlantic Ocean and the site of the Meteor Deep: extends also into the Southern Ocean, where it is the site of the Factorian Deep.
