noun Astronomy.
the component of the linear motion of a star with respect to the sun, measured along a line perpendicular to its line of sight and expressed in miles or kilometers per second.
Also called tangential velocity.

Tangential motion is always a great word to know.
So is summer solstice. Does it mean:
a cloud of interstellar gas and dust that appears hazy, or fuzzy, and extended in a telescope view
marking the time when the sun is at the north most point from the celestial equator occurring around June 21
