WaZOO definition
protocol Warp-zillion Opus-to-Opus.
Fidonet's
session layer protocol. Although it mentions
Opus (a specific
BBS from the 1980s), WaZOO is the session protocol used for the Fidonet network. Because WaZOO is much more efficient than other mechanisms (e.g.,
FTP), it is sometimes used for automated or batch communications in other parts of the
Internet.
