  1. One that wheels.

  2. A thing that moves on or is equipped with wheels or a wheel. Often used in combination: a three-wheeler; a paddle-wheeler.

  3. A wheel horse.

Whee·ler   (hwē'lər, wē'-)   
American Confederate general and politician. One of the South's most popular and aggressive commanders, he later served as U.S. representative from Georgia (1881-1883 and 1885-1900) and sought reconciliation between the North and South.
