Dakotan

The Dakotan was said to be unfit for a soldier because he was twenty pounds under weight for his height.

In some features of structure the Dakotan languages present an amazing diversity.

All of the Dakotan tribes and some others formerly made and baked pottery similar to that found in the mounds of the Ohio valley.

The root is extremely frequent in these uses in the Dakotan languages, and in Dak at least is much used as a suffix.

To unearth that plate would be a rich find for some enterprising young South Dakotan.
